First we got on the bus and sang kid songs the whole ride. We arrived at the lodge and found our groups. The forecast was cloudy and it was pouring rain. Mara had us play some name games and then we assented up to a big patch of grass. We dropped our stuff at a picnic table and each got compasses. We spent twenty minutes learning how to work a compass then we started our ¨game¨. We all took turns figuring out which way to go and how far to go. This process took forever. The game took us all the way up to the old car, where we had a snack. Our food was soaked by the time we were able to put it in our mouths. Thankfully Mara let us leave the car and go back down to the lodge. We ended up passing right by the lodge over to the little pond area. We were all miserable and whined the whole time. Mara let us play some games to cheer us up and motivate us to do the nature loop. Luckily while we played the games, the sky cleared up and stopped raining. We soon ate lunch at the pond and played with a hula hoop.
We then started the nature loop. The whole thing was basically a ton of slippery boards for us to slide on. We did this until we made it to a pretty spot on the river. After I used the bathroom I went across the river to the group. They were all playing in the river and trying to cross in difficult areas. Eventually, we all started towalk back to the lodge. Unfortunately, on our way, we all basically fell in the river, so we just walked through it carelessly. The rest of the loop was about tenminutes. FInally we stumped back to the solar panels and played with the carrier and 500 until the bus came. We all got on the bus and took attendance. As always we got our Swedish fish. Then we said our final thank you and farewells to Cardigan Mountain.
I chose the theme Human/Environment Interaction for day 3 for a couple of great reasons. Before i tell you the reasons let me tell you what exactly Human/Environment Interaction is. Human/environment Interaction is based on when humans and the environment interact with each other on the planet earthOne of them was that to start off the day we used compasses to find a particular plant/object in the woods. Another reason was that we played a lot of games that had to do with nature so we were interacting with the environment. A third reason is that it rained a lot and the raindrops were dropping all over us which is the environment interacting with us.To end the day we all went across the river and most of us got very wet which results in the environment interacting with us. To conclude everything that has been stated in this paragraph, we interacted with the environment and the environment interacted a lot with us on day three at Cardigan Mountain.
